Fire Resistant Access Panel RF30.SL
The new fire resistant access panel without rockwool plate (RF30.SL) are manufactured with doble fire-resistant gypsum boards (each one with 12.5mm).
These boards are supported by a redefined frame structure of raw aluminum profiles with a thickness of 1.5mm. The sealing of the area between the rims is made with intumescent tape.
This tape is made with a material that increases in size when there is a high rise in temperature, completely sealing the gap avoiding the passage of smoke, flames and hot gases.
There is a polyurethane tape around the perimeter of the access panel internal structure, to block the passage of air and dust.
